Sweet & Tart Apple Dip |

Ingredients
|
* 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow cream
* 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1 tablespoon lemon juice
* sliced apples (tart, crisp work best)

Directions
|
1. Combine all ingredients, except apples, in a mixing bowl. Beat with a hand mixer until nice and creamy and smooth.
2. Serve with nice crisp, tart apples, cut into thin wedges. Invest in a couple Granny Smiths.

Story

I've thought about sitting down and eating a whole jar of that marshmallow stuff by myself. You know. You've had the same thought. But I've come to realize that's not such a good idea. But, this is almost as good! The extreme sweetness is 'lifted up' by the wonderful tartness of not only the lemon but the apple too. And you are eating an apple so it can't be all bad. Enjoy for dessert or snack.
